    About the Artist

Performing as Limerence, Brendan Abbott plays gritty, human acoustic music with no backing tracks, no loops and no gimmicks. After years playing local rooms across Derbyshire, he strips indie and rock anthems by Oasis, The Verve and R.E.M. into intimate songs built for storytelling.

    About This Event

    The Vibe

There is a specific kind of magic that happens when Sunday evening rolls around, the sun starts to dip over the river, and the weekend’s final hours stretch out ahead of you. We are capturing exactly that feeling this week.

Lean into a slow evening at The Brasserie filled with great food, open fires, and the soundtrack your weekend deserves.

    The Music: Brendan Abbott (Limerence)

We are bringing Brendan Abbott to the waterfront. Performing under his moniker Limerence, Brendan isn't your average, overly polished lounge singer. He plays acoustic music with a real, gritty, human pulse - no backing tracks, no loops, and absolutely no gimmicks.

Just one guy, a worn-in guitar, and a voice built for storytelling. He has spent years cutting his teeth in local rooms across Derbyshire, learning exactly how to strip back massive, generation-defining indie and rock anthems into their rawest forms.

Expect him to pull out deeply nostalgic chord progressions from the likes of Oasis, The Verve, and R.E.M., turning massive stadium tracks into intimate, fireside songs that feel like they were written just for our dining room.

Our fire-led Brasserie kitchen opens at 5:00 PM, serving up charred, smoky plates and sharp cocktail.

🎸 The Set: Brendan takes the floor at 5:30 PM.

🎟️ The Entry: As always, entry is completely free.

Sundays are meant to be lived, not just endured.
