The COVID-19 pandemic has of course made the last eight weeks a very sad and difficult time for all of us. We hope that all our customers remain safe and well. Despite the uncertainty, our team have been keeping busy and focusing on preparations for the eventual reopening of Darleys. Here is a snapshot of what we’ve been up to.

Co-owners Lee and Rob have been focusing on the general upkeep of Darleys, including repairs and maintenance. Chris, James and the kitchen team have been working on the Christmas 2020 menus and Corrine, our Restaurant Manager, has been working hard on a Darleys ‘Service Standard’ and general housekeeping refinements.

New drinks

We have also been updating our drinks menu, using local suppliers wherever possible.

Alcoholic options

Some of our new alcohol suppliers include:

Non-alcoholic options

To strengthen our range of non-alcoholic cocktails, we’re adding Seedlip, a range of distilled non-alcoholic spirits from Lincolnshire.
We also have some new and exciting soft drinks, such as the sparkling Real Kombucha Royal Flush: an alternative to Champagne made from first flush Darjeeling tea. It’s soft and delicate with notes of rhubarb, white peach and a touch of blackcurrant. Also, by popular demand we are now stocking Elderflower Fever Tree Tonic and Fever Tree Ginger Beer.
We miss seeing you all and look forward to safely welcoming you back to Darleys as soon as the Government allows. Stay safe in the meantime,
Lee, Rob, Corrine, Chris, James and the Darleys team.
