We have been awarded 2 AA rosettes for culinary excellence and are listed in the Michelin Guide 2020. Our Executive Chef, Chris Marshall, has over 17 years’ experience and has worked at Michelin-guided restaurants before. He was part of a team awarded the AA ‘Welsh Restaurant of the Year’ title and has worked at hotels and restaurants across Europe. Headed by Chris, our kitchen team use fresh, seasonal and local ingredients to create dishes that are as pleasing on the eye as they are on the palate, with an emphasis on natural colours and flavours.
Great suppliers are key to our success. We believe in using seasonal, fresh and locally sourced ingredients wherever possible so we buy from outstanding Derbyshire-based companies like Owen Taylor and Sons, Duffield Dairy and The Cheese Factor, to name a few.
