As you will have heard, the UK Government has introduced a compulsory closure of all restaurants and bars at 10pm. This comes into force tomorrow: Thursday 24th September.

For Darleys, this means we now can’t take any table bookings after 8pm (7.30pm for tasting menus). This is so there is enough time for us to prepare your meal and for you to enjoy it at your leisure before leaving by 10pm.

If you had already made a booking for 8.30pm or 9pm for a date after the 24th, you should have been contacted by us — either to say we have moved your booking to an earlier time or if that wasn’t possible, to let you know we have added you to our new standby cancellation list. Unfortunately, due to restrictions on numbers in the restaurant, it hasn’t always been possible to move bookings to an earlier slot.

We’re very sorry to bring you this news; it’s disappointing for us too. However we hope you understand that this is beyond our control and we still hope to welcome you soon, albeit at a slightly earlier time! If you have any questions, please contact us or you can check our bookings calendar and make a new reservation online.
