We are an award-winning restaurant with a beautiful waterfront location in Derby. We offer you classic British and European dishes with a modern twist, within a 200-year old former mill building: Darley Abbey Mills.
We also have two outdoor terraces so if you prefer, you can enjoy al-fresco drinks overlooking the River Derwent prior to your dining experience. We’re open for breakfast, lunch and dinner — check our current opening hours.
Darleys creates incredible flavours and stunningly-presented dishes that will delight you, all paired with the perfect wine or cocktail to make your experience complete.
From Wednesday 20th November, we’ll be running a wide range of festive menus. There’s also an extra-special menu for New Year’s Eve.
Treat someone special to the Darleys experience with our range of gift options, including vouchers from £20 to £200.
You can enjoy dining or drinking al-fresco on our terrace, while taking in the views of the River Derwent and the surrounding wildlife. It’s a gloriously tranquil spot.
Our building is also special: it’s part of the Derwent Valley Mills World Heritage Site and is over 200 years old. During the industrial revolution it housed the staff canteen for a thriving cotton mill, and today it continues to be a place to come for delicious food and drink with friends, family and colleagues. Our co-owners are a local father-and-son team, Lee Bebbington and Robert Ellis.
